The Boston Harbor Islands have been used for hundreds of years as a peaceful, recreational retreat by local residents. You truly have not seen all that Boston has to offer until you have explored the islands of the harbor. Enjoy spectacular views of the city, tour the remnants of old forts, and hike miles of paved and unpaved paths across the islands. Each has its own unique story to tell: Some were used as farming or fishing outposts, others as military fortifications, schools, and quarantine hospitals.

Now you can have your own private boat take you and your family and friends to many of the islands on your own schedule. We leave the dock when you're ready, and you have the freedom of exploring each of the islands at your own pace. The islands we can visit include: George's, Lovell's, Peddock's, Spectacle, and Bumpkin. Other islands like:  Great Brewster, Calf Island, Outer Brewster, Green, Rainsford, and Grape we can make a pass by on the boat, however at present time no docking exists. Little Brewster (where Boston Lighthouse is located) is also available for organized tours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Once on the islands you can explore on your own, or take a guided tour offered on a few of the islands by park rangers. Many of the forts and bases on the islands date back to World War II. The fort on George's Island - Fort Warren - dates back to 1850, and housed some high ranking confederate officials imprisoned during the Civil War.

Picnic areas are available on many of the islands and some even have grills for public use, so pack up a hearty lunch and plenty of refreshments. Swimming and wading are also available in many places on various islands. Bicycles may also be used on one of the islands. Bringing some warm clothes is recommended, as well as good walking/hiking shoes (sandals work best).

We run 3 types of excursions: Full Day Charter, Half Day Charter, and a Evening Cruise downtown.

Half Day Charter: This charter is a 4 hour trip. Plenty of time to explore a couple of islands on land, and enjoy a relaxing cruise around other islands. Cost of the half day charter is $400.00

Evening Cruise: Ok...Maybe island exploration isn't your style. We also offer a 3 hour evening cruise around downtown Boston. Enjoy a beautiful sunset, and nighttime views of the scenic downtown Boston skyline. You'll also see the USS Constitution in Charlestown and Fort Independence in South Boston.  Cost of the evening cruise is $300.00
